What we do
The ILEAD COMMUNITY is a twelve-month acceleration program for young leaders who are passionate in inspiring other young people to have a good effect on their families, communities, and the country. As a Christian faith-based social enterprise, ILEAD AFRICA ACADEMY has a history of emphasizing community and school outreach activities created to inspire and prepare young people to become agents of change in society.
Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible:
- Look for an internship as a stepping stone toward working with young people
- Have a desire to get mentoring in order to launch their own young (kids and teens) social entrepreneurial program, to whom our grant will be awarded
- Be willing to devote the next twelve months of their time to investing in the evolution of young people through excellent education, social involvement, and economic empowerment; 3. Be seeking a platform to learn, grow, and be outfitted with the necessary tools to realize their unique ideas
- Be eager to cooperate with iLEAD AFRICA ACADEMY and collaborate with academic leaders, instructors, and students to uphold the organization's principles
- Have the capacity to convey and articulate their ideas in an unbiased manner (both orally and creatively)
- Model a life of excellence and moral uprightness for our young people
- Have a minimum qualification of undergraduate Year 3+ students or graduates with a minimal OND/NCE qualification, be between 21 & 35 years of age, and be a citizen of Nigeria residing anywhere in Nigeria
At the conclusion of the accelerator program, those who were successful will have the following advantages:
- A grant (up to NGN500K) to startup their own (youth development) social enterprise (as long as they complete all the tasks given during the 6-month engagement program)
- The opportunity to become ambassadors of the ILEAD COMMUNITY
- Access to other wealth creation opportunities.
